Keto Sour Cream Biscuit



1 ½ cup almond flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tablespoon baking powder
2 eggs
⅓ cup sour cream (Can use plain Greek yogurt but sour cream is best)
4 Tablespoon melted butter


Melt butter, add sour cream and eggs,

Whisk together well.

Add dry ingredients and stir well until combined.

Spoon into a muffin pan.

Bake at 400 degrees until done.

Variations and Tips

Add sweetener and keto-friendly chocolate chips for a tasty chocolate chip muffin.

Add powdered sweetener (we always use golden monk fruit) and vanilla to the biscuit base. Top with icing. We topped ours with chocolate buttercream icing. This makes a great cupcake.

Our Sour Cream Biscuits make a delicious breakfast sandwich.

Add cinnamon and sweetener then top with cream cheese icing for a cinnamon roll muffin.

Add sweetener and vanilla. Top with homemade whipped cream and strawberries for a strawberry shortcake.

Make sure you’ve got a full-fat sour cream that doesn’t have added junk in it. Our sour cream says “cultured cream” on the ingredients list and that’s it!

Add cheese, garlic, and onion powder for a savory variation

Especially good with a hearty smear of butter or homemade jam on top!

Great with breakfast or dinner.

Be sure to let them cool for a few minutes before trying to eat them or they’ll crumble.
